Team Leader - Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution on a manufacturing line, coordinating people, materials, and resources to meet production goals.
• Act as the primary point of coordination for the shift, setting pace and priorities for the team.
• Lead the line-level Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings to communicate risks, actions, and needs.
• Support problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts to address line challenges quickly.
• Motivate and train a team of 7-8 members, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and safety.
• Operate manufacturing equipment efficiently, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain accurate daily records of downtime and machine operations.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead peers and influence performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a lead operator, team lead, or similar front-line leadership role.
• Experience working with daily management systems such as DDS or tier meetings.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing concepts (e.g., IWS).
