About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and motivate the rail operations team
- Apply and enforce occupational health and safety policies
- Plan the use and maintenance of equipment, including PPE and machinery used for railcar loading
- Work closely with the shuttle train operator to ensure safe and efficient positioning of railcars
- Support the foreman with administrative and operational follow-ups related to rail production
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in team management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial or production environment
- Experience operating heavy equipment (loaders, cranes, shuttle trains)
- Fluency in French
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent physical condition for hands-on work and climbing railcars
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a railway environment
- Knowledge of railway systems, infrastructure, or rolling stock
