Team Leader Quality

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shop floor quality activities to protect Brose and its customers
• Provide disciplinary leadership and career development for Quality Auditors and the Salvage Team
• Manage plant quality KPIs, including Scrap, RT, and Rework Rate
• Own the plant scrap, salvage, and rework processes, including the improvement of NBO rework concepts
• Define and monitor shop floor audit concepts and enforce discipline and basic rules
• Lead scrap reduction projects in coordination with PQC
• Manage the hold and sort areas to ensure correct material flow and labeling for NOK material
• Create training and development plans to close skill gaps and define successors
• Plan budgets and track team costs to ensure continuous cost efficiency
• Initiate and follow up on sorting activities and containment for non-conforming parts

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in the area of quality
• 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry as a quality specialist
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and supporting quality teams or operators
• Strong knowledge of quality processes and procedures for optimization
• Experience with shop floor audits, scrap reporting, rework, and salvage
• Proficiency with quality KPIs such as Scrap, RT, and Rework Rate
• Ability to handle internal and customer issues through escalation and problem-solving
