About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate service and selling teams to drive sales targets and exceed customer expectations
- Partner with the Customer Service Manager to inspire high performance within the team
- Develop creative ways to drive sales and ensure customers receive personal attention
- Create an exceptional in-store experience for all customers
- Support the development of team members to prepare them for future leadership opportunities
Requirements
- People leadership or supervisory experience within a retail big box or department environment
- Proven retail sales experience with strong customer service and selling skills
- Ability to foster effective communication and collaboration with management, team members, and customers
- Strong time management, work prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work across key store trading hours, including fortnightly weekends
- Must have valid Australian working rights
