Team Leader Logistics

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control workflow progress and predefined processes within the assigned area, utilizing SQCDP rounds.
• Provide technical leadership to the team, including organizing onboarding for new employees and conducting technical instructions.
• Coordinate team tasks regarding process execution and service delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for team members and customers regarding operational priorities, disruptions, and changing requirements.
• Support disciplinary managers with staff scheduling, shift planning, and vacation management.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, including safety standards and working procedures.
• Monitor safety, cleanliness, and order within the designated area.
• Assist in analyzing performance deviations through root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Specialist for Warehouse Logistics (Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik).
• Initial experience in the technical leadership of a team.
• Fluency in German (written and spoken).
• Valid forklift license (Stufe 2) is required; crane license is an advantage.
• Proficiency in SAP and material management systems.
• Experience with MDT scanners and inventory activities.
• Availability for shift work.
• Reliability, resilience, and a customer-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in operational contract logistics.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience operating various industrial trucks.
