About the role
Responsibilities
- Support and coach the kitchen team to reach their full potential
- Manage training pathways and ensure timely completion
- Assign duties based on individual productivity, skill sets, and responsibilities
- Lead by example and maintain hands-on involvement in kitchen operations
- Ensure the 11-Step Production Process and 6 Key Points of Production are followed
- Oversee food safety, health and safety standards, and equipment maintenance
- Manage shop profitability through forecasting, rota management, ordering, and production
- Maintain stock control and follow merchandising guidelines to drive sales
- Ensure all Marketplace orders are prepared promptly and accurately
Requirements
- Experience in a kitchen or food service leadership role
- Ability to lead, coach, and provide regular feedback to team members
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment like Dublin Airport
- Commitment to maintaining high quality and freshness standards
