About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support and coach the kitchen team to reach their full potential
  • Manage training pathways and ensure timely completion
  • Assign duties based on individual productivity, skill sets, and responsibilities
  • Lead by example and maintain hands-on involvement in kitchen operations
  • Ensure the 11-Step Production Process and 6 Key Points of Production are followed
  • Oversee food safety, health and safety standards, and equipment maintenance
  • Manage shop profitability through forecasting, rota management, ordering, and production
  • Maintain stock control and follow merchandising guidelines to drive sales
  • Ensure all Marketplace orders are prepared promptly and accurately

Requirements

  • Experience in a kitchen or food service leadership role
  • Ability to lead, coach, and provide regular feedback to team members
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment like Dublin Airport
  • Commitment to maintaining high quality and freshness standards
