Team Leader - Installation

Responsibilities

• Lead, brief, and direct a team of 5–15 installation technicians on site
• Study installation drawings, site plans, and build schedules
• Oversee assembly and installation of custom builds, furniture, props, and lighting rigs
• Manage on-site timelines and coordinate parallel workstreams
• Conduct on-site QC checks to ensure builds match approved drawings
• Enforce site safety protocols and manage permit-to-work processes
• Act as the primary on-site contact for clients and venue managers
• Lead the safe and efficient derig of all installations post-event
• Manage vehicle loading/unloading and logistics coordination

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in event installation, fit-out, or live events production
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Working at Height certification (IPAF/PASMA or equivalent) is mandatory
• Ability to read and interpret technical installation drawings and CAD plans
• Strong knowledge of installation techniques for wood, metal, and fabric
• Valid driving licence
• Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Manual Handling and First Aid certification
• Arabic language skills
