Team Leader, Indirect Purchasing

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and lead a high-performing indirect purchasing function.
• Build and develop the purchasing organization, including structure, roles, and ways of working.
• Lead, coach, and support purchasing specialists to ensure continuous improvement.
• Design, implement, and improve end-to-end purchasing processes across the Purchase to Pay (P2P) cycle.
• Develop standardized purchasing policies, procedures, and tools to ensure global consistency.
• Oversee the quality, accuracy, and timely processing of Purchase Requisitions, Orders, and Agreements.
• Drive cost optimization, compliance, and risk mitigation across all purchasing activities.
• Act as the primary interface between Procurement and Finance regarding supplier issues and financial flows.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Digital teams to drive process improvements and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in a relevant stream, such as Supply Chain.
• 5-7 years of core procurement experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of procurement and P2P (finance) concepts.
• Proven experience in a global business environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
