Team Leader-India Payroll

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of payroll administrators to ensure accurate and timely India payroll services
• Manage day-to-day work allocation, monitoring production, and ensuring all process SLAs are met
• Handle client communications, including attending calls and providing regular progress updates
• Oversee resource management, including capacity planning, attrition analysis, and skill matrix maintenance
• Conduct performance management through regular feedback sessions, one-on-one meetings, and training identification
• Manage the employee lifecycle for team members, including onboarding, attendance tracking, and appraisals
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, ISMS, and company policies
• Perform root cause analysis on errors and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in India Payroll
• Mandatory experience in a supervisory or team handling role
• Graduate degree or Diploma holder
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong technical knowledge of India payroll systems and processes
