Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Work safely complying with all safety, quality and sanitation policies
• Assign and modify staffing and job assignments based on production needs
• Notify supervisor of policy or safety violations and conduct initial reports
• Operate equipment according to SOP and assist with basic troubleshooting
• Serve as safety representative on assigned shift
• Meet or exceed daily production or department standards
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and 5S practices

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, and walk extensively
• Ability to work in a cooled sanitary environment (45 degrees or below)
• Ability to work around loud production equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter production data
• Willingness to work all shifts including overtime
