About the role
Responsibilities
- Support and coach the team to ensure they reach their potential in both the shop and kitchen
- Lead by example and be hands-on when required
- Assign duties amongst team members to match productivity and skill sets
- Lead Speed of Service principles and ensure the team follows the 6 Key Points of Service
- Ensure the team follows the 11-Step Production Process for food safety and quality
- Maintain Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, ensuring all safety checks are recorded
- Maximise sales and profit through forecasting, rota management, ordering, and production
- Ensure good stock control and follow merchandising guidelines to drive sales
Requirements
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a food service environment
- Ability to coach and provide regular feedback to team members
- Strong understanding of food safety and health and safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
