About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, track, and delegate work to a team of Case Managers or Specialists
  • Mentor staff and provide training in accordance with program rules and regulations
  • Perform initial application screening, eligibility determination, and rent calculations
  • Review cases, develop unit goals, and monitor staff productivity
  • Ensure staff members work within federal regulatory and local policy guidelines
  • Manage client briefings, contract preparation, and annual recertifications
  • Communicate with clients and landlords via telephone, email, and in-person meetings

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in community work or community-centered activities
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Section 8 or other rental subsidy experience
  • Bilingual proficiency
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Computer proficiency
