About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor, track, and delegate work to a team of Case Managers or Specialists
- Mentor staff and provide training in accordance with program rules and regulations
- Perform initial application screening, eligibility determination, and rent calculations
- Review cases, develop unit goals, and monitor staff productivity
- Ensure staff members work within federal regulatory and local policy guidelines
- Manage client briefings, contract preparation, and annual recertifications
- Communicate with clients and landlords via telephone, email, and in-person meetings
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Three years of experience in community work or community-centered activities
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Section 8 or other rental subsidy experience
- Bilingual proficiency
- Strong customer service focus
- Computer proficiency
