Team Leader Control and Special Functions

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control work progress and workflows within the area of responsibility, utilizing SQCDP rounds.
• Provide technical leadership to the team, including organizing onboarding for new employees and conducting technical instructions.
• Coordinate team tasks regarding processes and service delivery to ensure operational priorities are met.
• Act as a primary contact for team members, the company, and customers regarding daily operations and disruptions.
• Support disciplinary managers with input on staff scheduling, shift planning, and vacation management.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, including safety standards, working instructions, and procedures.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and order within the designated area.
• Assist in analyzing performance deviations through root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training with long-term professional experience in a logistics environment (Master Craftsman/Meister preferred).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in German (written and spoken); English skills are an advantage.
• Proficiency in PC applications and mobile data terminals.
• Availability to work in a shift system.
• Strong awareness of order, cleanliness, and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial leadership experience managing small to medium-sized teams.
• Driver's license and experience operating industrial way vehicles (forklifts).
• Willingness to take on honorary roles such as first aider, fire safety assistant, or evacuation assistant.
