Team Leader Accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate accounting operations for assigned entities to ensure quality, accuracy, and deadline compliance
• Prepare and record closing entries and perform critical reviews of tasks completed by GL and Senior GL accountants
• Prepare, explain, and present monthly reporting to the Department Director
• Manage and animate a small team of GL and Senior GL accountants, providing coaching and professional development support
• Provide technical leadership to guide the team through complex accounting issues
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal clients regarding general accounting matters
• Drive continuous improvement projects and ensure the application of Group accounting rules and internal control systems

Requirements

• Brevet fédéral de comptabilité or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including GL responsibilities in an international environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and CO)
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel
• Native French speaker with excellent English skills
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities in a complex environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in team management or leadership roles
