Team Leader - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly operations on the 3rd shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
• Supervise team members, including training, performance management, and daily work assignment.
• Monitor hourly production performance and initiate escalation when targets are not met.
• Perform equipment start-up, shut-down, changeovers, and first-level mechanical repairs.
• Identify and respond to quality issues to minimize defects and production loss.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean principles, Kaizen initiatives, and 5S standards.
• Conduct downtime analysis and coordinate with Maintenance and Tooling to improve reliability.
• Lead and audit Rapid Problem Solving (RPS) and Layered Process Audits (LPA).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience (assembly experience preferred).
• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Working knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and production reporting.
