Team Lead - T&C

Responsibilities

• Oversee work assignments for Material Handlers and delegate tasks based on workload and labor availability
• Ensure personnel execute duties in compliance with all company policies, safety guidelines, and quality procedures
• Communicate with department management, planning, and shipping associates regarding accuracy and housekeeping
• Monitor and report unsafe conditions, taking immediate corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment
• Assist with problem-solving for shipping personnel, including scanning and case location inquiries
• Support the planning and execution of quarterly physical inventories
• Perform 6S audits and root cause analysis when errors are identified in loading or material movement
• Safely operate forklifts or hand trucks to move products as required

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of warehouse experience
• 1 to 2 years of related leadership or training experience
• Proven ability to operate a forklift safely
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks such as bending, twisting, and pushing/pulling heavy cases
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role
• Experience using AS400 systems
• Strong attention to detail regarding document accuracy and data entry
