Team Lead, Software Development

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software developers to design, develop, and deliver complex software systems and platform capabilities.
• Provide design and architectural guidance for software applications, services, and modules.
• Maintain hands-on coding and champion software engineering best practices.
• Accountable for the overall delivery and quality of new platform capabilities, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
• Allocate tasks and project work in line with team objectives and individual capabilities.
• Provide leadership and input for performance discussions regarding direct reports.
• Manage medium-scale projects, including change control processes and risk assessment.
• Communicate regularly with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet standards, budgets, and timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development roles, including Senior Software Developer experience.
• 1+ years of experience leading a team, either formally or informally.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and use discretion to address complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and influence stakeholders.
