Team Lead - Smart Building Services

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of smart building analysts, providing coaching, performance feedback, and development plans.
• Support resource forecasting, labor planning, and workload balance in partnership with the Operations Manager.
• Ensure all service work complies with state, local, and federal requirements as well as current service practices.
• Partner with customers, field personnel, and sales teams to communicate technical needs and deliver high-quality service.
• Track key performance indicators including employee productivity, response times, and service profitability.
• Champion quality assurance, continuous improvement, and the execution of work at the right cost.

Requirements

• Proven leadership skills with experience coaching and motivating teams.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in commercial HVAC environments.
• Experience with construction projects and Building Automation Systems (BAS) / Controls.
• Proficiency with computers, routers, and IP-connected devices.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage resources, resolve crises, and adapt to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Technical Degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Mechanical Building Systems.
• Tridium AX/N4 certification.
• Experience with Honeywell, Siemens, or equivalent building automation platforms.
• Background in facility operations.
