Team Lead - Residue Mobile Lab

Responsibilities

• Manage entire residue lab operations, including planning, assignment, and handling OOS
• Oversee method development, validation, and the preparation of validation reports
• Verify data and interpret results to ensure accuracy
• Manage procurement, costing, and the timely arrangement of chemicals, reagents, and consumables
• Provide internal training for the team and lead internal audits
• Monitor lab Turnaround Time (TAT) and manage the closure of customer complaints
• Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide technical support for group lab queries

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience working in a food testing laboratory
• Strong knowledge of food residue and contaminants analysis
• Deep understanding of ISO 17025 implementation and accreditation processes
• B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry
• Proven leadership skills to supervise, allot, and evaluate the work of analysts
• Willingness to work in a mobile lab setting and travel to remote areas
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills in English and local languages
