Team Lead, Production

Responsibilities

• Supervise production department teams and lead operators to ensure work is completed within established timing, quality, and cost standards.
• Provide teams with necessary information, tools, training, and techniques to perform jobs consistently.
• Ensure plant operations adhere to set work instructions, SOPs, and GMPs.
• Provide daily feedback to team members regarding production, schedules, quality, and safety.
• Manage administrative tasks including daily production/attendance reports, SAP maintenance, and inventory deficit clearing.
• Coordinate temporary employees and ensure proper training is conducted.
• Promote a safe, healthy, and clean workplace while adhering to ISO, Food Safety, and Food Defense quality systems.
• Facilitate smooth shift transitions by ensuring all critical information is transmitted to the next team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Proven experience working within a production department.
• Experience using SAP for production system maintenance and inventory tasks.
• Previous supervisory experience or a demonstrated ability to lead teams.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs (25 kg).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
