Team Lead - Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Support a Supervisor in overseeing approximately 45 Lab Technicians
• Act as a resource for training group members and resolving production issues
• Contribute to interviewing candidates and providing performance management feedback
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace in a fast-paced environment
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities to ensure quality is achieved the first time
• Remain flexible and adaptable as production processes evolve

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in production or distribution
• Previous experience in a lead role, helping teams stay on track and resolving issues
• High mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and decimal sequencing
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift
• Ability to lift and move up to 15 lbs. regularly
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an optical lab setting
• Experience with optical finishing
