Team Lead, Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of in-house technicians and portfolio associates
• Manage maintenance efforts for multi-family and single-family properties, including routine, preventive, and emergency work
• Serve as the primary contact for emergency responses and risk mitigation
• Oversee the workforce lifecycle including interviewing, selecting, onboarding, and training new hires
• Analyze daily and weekly reports to identify risks and provide team guidance
• Manage payroll approval and termination processes in accordance with company policy
• Conduct periodic site visits for quality assurance, coaching, and inspections
• Provide ongoing mentorship and 1-on-1 support to field staff

Requirements

• 3+ years of management experience
• 5+ years of property maintenance experience for multi-family or single-family properties
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Proficiency with technology systems for tracking, scheduling, and communication
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing and crawling

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC Type I and Type II or Universal certification
