About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the FSQA team at the Verden site, including QA/QC and sanitation operations
- Drive the development and implementation of food safety and quality assurance processes
- Manage daily FSQA operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Monitor, analyze, and report FSQA performance using KPIs and trend analysis
- Evaluate quality deviations and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)
- Coordinate the resolution of food safety incidents and recalls
- Collaborate with Production, Intralogistics, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams
Requirements
- Degree in food technology, food chemistry, nutrition science, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance in food/feed manufacturing
- Proven leadership experience in a production environment
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, and external audit processes
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Fluency in English and good command of German (B1/B2 level)
