Team Lead - Facilities & Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform routine maintenance on manufacturing and facilities equipment, including cleaning, calibrations, inspections, and testing
• Manage and perform reactive maintenance as needed
• Develop and execute improvement initiatives for minimizing equipment downtime and improving team efficiency
• Serve as the primary point of contact for production staff on all maintenance issues
• Assist the Facilities and Safety Manager in managing site projects, including contractor meetings and administrative work
• Manage assembly and moving of furniture and equipment

Requirements

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• 1+ years of leadership experience leading maintenance technicians or crews
• Experience with preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting programs
• Experience developing PM schedules and familiarity with CMMS systems
• Understanding of basic safety protocols, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Understanding of basic building code requirements
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills
• Basic finish skills, including paint and drywall
• Ability to read and interpret building plans
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
• Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation equipment and/or PLCs
• Certifications in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing disciplines
• First aid/CPR certification
• Forklift experience or certification
