Team Lead - Facilities & Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians in performing repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities
• Manage and perform routine and reactive maintenance, including cleaning, calibrations, inspections, and testing
• Develop and execute improvement initiatives to minimize equipment downtime and improve team efficiency
• Serve as the primary point of contact for production staff regarding all maintenance issues
• Assist the Facilities and Safety Manager with site projects, contractor meetings, and administrative tasks
• Manage the assembly and moving of furniture and equipment as required

Requirements

• 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• 1-2 years of leadership experience managing maintenance technicians or crews
• Expertise in preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and the development of maintenance schedules
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, including basic finish skills like paint and drywall
• Understanding of safety protocols, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding)
• Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends to support production goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation equipment and/or PLCs
• Certifications in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing disciplines
• First aid/CPR certification
• Forklift experience or certification
