Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical direction to a team of hourly production associates
• Direct daily activities in the work area to ensure production goals are met
• Train and coach associates on manufacturing practices, quality practices, and safety procedures
• Communicate job status between shifts to ensure continuation of work in progress
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and set the example for proper use of safety equipment
• Perform appropriate preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• 4 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a recurring basis
• Ability to work in a production environment with temperature variations and noise

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience
