Team Lead - Dairy

Responsibilities

• Support effective site and department operations under direction from the Production Lead
• For weekend/afternoon/night shifts, take responsibility for all Safety, Quality and Production issues
• Support delivery of year-on-year objectives for safety, quality, cost, reliability and delivery
• Align with Operations Strategies and support initiatives including leadership philosophies
• Support roll out plans for safety, quality, operational excellence, training, auditing, delivery and cost
• Support NPD team with product transition through stage gate process into Operations
• Ensure clear documented communications reported to Production Lead and Site Managers
• Support Training Coordinators with training and competency assessments
• Develop and uphold structured communication tools between Team Leads
• Support SAP entry within relevant team/shift
• Support development and coordination of team rosters per EBA requirements
• Contribute to timekeeping and payroll processes, including accuracy review
• Support adherence to SOPs, work instructions and operational standards
• Support Tier 1 DMS activities on shift, including communication and follow-up
• Contribute to Tier 2 review and escalation processes

• Knowledge and desire to learn operational methodologies and tools
• Ability and knowledge to correctly apply company and regulatory policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated logical and lateral thinking skills with capacity for innovation
• Understanding of manufacturing, dairy or food production environments desirable
