Team Lead - Crating

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical direction to a team of hourly production associates
• Direct daily activities in the work area to ensure production goals are met
• Train and coach associates on manufacturing practices, quality practices, and safety procedures
• Identify parts, descriptions, and proper hand tools required for forming crates
• Communicate job status between shifts to ensure continuity of work in progress
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and ensure the use of proper safety equipment and apparel
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4 years of relevant experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
