Team Lead - Assembly Panel

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of the work group in the assembly panel area to meet production schedules.
• Ensure the team adheres to all safety and quality policies, including R3 and 6S processes.
• Monitor and implement quality systems, including audit systems and 8D problem-solving methods.
• Assign and execute daily production tasks to meet standard hour execution goals.
• Perform On-the-Job (OJT) training for newly hired associates and maintain updated training documentation.
• Provide daily feedback to associates regarding performance, goals, and continuous improvement.
• Foster teamwork and assist the Production Supervisor in meeting business unit objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Over 3 years of related experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Experience with AS400 software or similar system knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of 6S and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership traits.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, complex environment.
