Team Lead AI, Data & Analytics

Responsibilities

• Consult with diverse stakeholders in Finance to propose and design high-quality, scalable data solutions.
• Build end-to-end data solutions, including automated data workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Own data initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring accuracy and efficiency within the financial data ecosystem.
• Drive value for the Finance department by transforming business questions into measurable BI solutions.
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to improve data governance and automate manual processes.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience working with BI and analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Metabase.
• Proficiency in SQL and Relational Databases, including the ability to write, execute, and interpret complex queries.
• Proven experience with ETL tools and data modelling.
• Advanced Excel modelling skills.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence peers and build cross-functional relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Accounting or financial knowledge combined with strong commercial acumen.
• Solid technical or functional knowledge in statistics.
• Familiarity with Scrum or Agile methodologies.
• Experience with T-SQL, batch scripting, ODBC, data mining, or Hadoop.
