Team Lead Accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale Scalable Capital’s Accounting function, covering German GAAP (HGB/RechKredV) and IFRS requirements
• Design, standardize, and automate accounting processes across existing and new workstreams
• Own and drive cross-functional accounting projects with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Take end-to-end responsibility for the monthly and annual close, including monthly tax reporting
• Contribute to the design of booking logic and posting patterns within the in-house core banking system

Requirements

• Extensive experience in financial accounting under German GAAP (HGB)
• Proven experience in preparing consolidated annual financial statements
• Experience managing the external audit process
• Solid knowledge of tax-relevant accounting topics like VAT
• Business fluency in German and English
