Teaching Fellow - Psychology

Responsibilities

• Teach two in-person undergraduate psychology courses per semester at the Cedar Rapids campus
• Participate in psychology faculty department activities and advise undergraduate psychology majors
• Engage in face-to-face, hybrid, and online teaching modalities as needed
• Contribute to impactful, evidence-based learning experiences for students
• Engage in ongoing professional development appropriate to the discipline
• Support the mission of a learner-centered Catholic higher education model

Requirements

• Doctorate (ABD considered) or Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
• Demonstrated university-level teaching experience
• Ability to teach in both in-person and online modalities
• Ability to teach broadly in clinical or applied areas (e.g., Theories of Counseling, Abnormal Psychology, Health Psychology, Tests and Measurements, Psychology of Trauma, or Lifespan Development)

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical experience in the field
• Experience teaching specific psychology courses within a university setting
