About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with departmental initiatives including Spanish Table, Spanish Club, and the departmental newsletter
- Support the Volunteer Student Teaching program and the Teaching Assistant program
- Host the weekly Spanish-language campus radio show
- Assist a faculty member with the instruction of one Spanish language course per semester
- Engage with diverse student populations to support an inclusive educational environment
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited university
- At least 1 year of experience as an Instructor or Teaching Assistant in Spanish language and/or Hispanic cultures
- Advanced-intermediate level proficiency in spoken English
- Ability to demonstrate experience working with diverse student populations
