Responsibilities

  • Teach two in-person undergraduate biology courses per semester at the Davenport campus
  • Participate in biology faculty department activities and service
  • Engage in face-to-face, hybrid, and online teaching modalities as needed
  • Contribute to a learner-centered model for Catholic higher education
  • Commit to evidence-based innovation to create impactful learning experiences for students
  • Engage in ongoing professional development appropriate to the academic discipline

Requirements

  • Doctorate (ABD considered) or Master's degree in microbiology, immunology, or a related field
  • Demonstrated university-level teaching experience
  • Ability to teach in-person and online

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching specific microbiology and immunology courses
  • Ability to teach broadly across various biological disciplines
