Teaching Faculty - School of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver classroom instruction for MSN and DNP programs, including nurse practitioner specialty courses
• Use technology and innovative methods to deliver quality course content and engage students effectively
• Create and administer classroom and clinical assignments, assessments, and evaluations
• Support students through didactic instruction, clinical oversight, skills training, and simulation
• Engage in student advisement and hold regular office hours
• Participate in assigned committees and contribute to curriculum development and accreditation processes
• Maintain professional credentials, licenses, and certifications
• Promote a positive spiritual and emotional environment in all interactions

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in nursing
• Current advanced practice (APRN) certification, license, and clinical experience
• Teaching experience in nursing higher education, including classroom and clinical settings
• Member in good and regular standing in the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church
• Expressed commitment to Jesus Christ and the teachings and mission of the SDA Church
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or significant education in Lifestyle Medicine
