Teaching Faculty (Physics)

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate physics courses, including laboratory and computational components
• Establish and sustain a research program that actively engages undergraduate students
• Provide academic, career, and spiritual advising to assigned students
• Integrate a Christian biblical worldview and Seventh-day Adventist beliefs into the physics curriculum
• Support engineering courses within your areas of qualification
• Serve on departmental and university committees to foster a collaborative culture
• Maintain accurate course records and provide timely feedback to students

Requirements

• Master's degree in physics or physics education research (Ph.D. preferred)
• Demonstrated experience leading student research
• Active Seventh-day Adventist church member with a strong commitment to the mission of the church
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to provide face-to-face instruction on campus in Collegedale, TN

• Evidence of effective undergraduate teaching
• Demonstrated interest in curriculum development or program building
