Teaching Faculty (Physics)

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate physics courses at all levels, including laboratory and computational components
• Establish and sustain a research program that actively engages undergraduate students
• Provide academic, career, and spiritual advising to assigned students
• Support engineering courses within your areas of qualification
• Develop innovative course materials and maintain accurate academic records
• Serve on departmental and university committees to foster a collaborative culture
• Nurture students' spiritual and professional growth through mentorship and club sponsorship

Requirements

• Master's degree in physics or physics education research (Ph.D. preferred)
• Demonstrated experience leading student research
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Active Seventh-day Adventist church member with a strong commitment to the mission of the church
• Ability to integrate a Christian biblical worldview into the teaching of physics

Preferred Qualifications

• Evidence of effective undergraduate teaching
• Demonstrated interest in curriculum development or program building
• Experience with online course delivery
