About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and teach general and specialized undergraduate electrical engineering courses, including lecture and laboratory components
- Integrate Christian faith and biblical principles into course content and personal interactions
- Maintain engineering laboratories, develop safety protocols, and support student use of equipment for capstone projects
- Advise and mentor students in academic, spiritual, and career development
- Sponsor student clubs, senior capstone projects, and special academic trips
- Participate in departmental and university committees to foster a culture of collaboration
- Engage in professional and scholarly activities
Requirements
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Expressed commitment to Jesus Christ and the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- Must be a Seventh-day Adventist church member in good and regular standing
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Prior experience teaching in a higher education setting
- Relevant industry experience in electrical engineering
