Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support preschool classrooms serving children ages 3–5 years
• Implement daily instructional activities and classroom routines
• Support individualized learning opportunities for children with diverse developmental needs
• Assist children in developing communication, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
• Foster independence and positive peer interactions
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support individual children or small groups

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Special Education
• Experience working with preschool-aged children
• Experience supporting children with developmental delays or disabilities
