Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct tutorials, seminars, and small group learning sessions for foundation and undergraduate management units
• Review, contextualize, and deliver teaching and assessment materials provided by Curtin Perth
• Mark assignments, quizzes, and examinations using approved rubrics and moderation guidelines
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students during consultation hours
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, engagement, and participation
• Collaborate with Unit Coordinators in Perth and Dubai to ensure consistent unit delivery
• Support academic operations, including examination invigilation and routine administrative processes
• Participate in industry engagement activities such as guest lectures and seminars

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Management or a closely related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of one year of successful teaching experience
• Proven experience in assessment and marking using structured rubrics
• Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of students
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent time management and professional communication skills
