Responsibilities

• Study and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Use varied instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning
• Manage a classroom of 20+ scholars
• Assess student progress via assignments, tests, and observations
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate performance records
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and productive procedures
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about academic and behavioral progress
• Collaborate with staff and administration to support student success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree before first day (education background not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for learning and commitment to student development
• Ability to work in person in New York City
• Resilience, drive, and a commitment to excellence
• Belief in every student's potential to reach high standards
