Teacher of Spanish

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated Spanish curriculum for students
• Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and form tutor
• Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and academic growth
• Manage operational and strategic planning, including lesson planning and resource development
• Maintain appropriate records and track student progress through effective information management
• Communicate positively with students, parents, and other stakeholders
• Create a motivating, safe, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
• Successful teaching experience at secondary level (including teaching practice for ECTs)
• Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4
• Strong ICT skills, including the use of interactive whiteboards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive professional relationships
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills and strong time management
