Teacher of RE with Geography or History

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum for Religious Education and either Geography or History.
• Monitor and support the academic and personal progress of students as a teacher and form tutor.
• Plan lessons, develop resources, and contribute to departmental strategic planning.
• Maintain accurate records and track student attainment to raise academic standards.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and external stakeholders.
• Participate in professional development and the performance management process.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A relevant undergraduate degree.
• Successful teaching experience at the secondary level (including teaching practice).
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements for KS3 and KS4.
• Strong ICT skills, including the use of interactive whiteboards.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain positive professional relationships.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
