Teacher of Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated Mathematics curriculum
• Monitor and support the academic progress and development of students as a teacher and form tutor
• Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and personal growth
• Engage in operational and strategic planning, including lesson planning and resource development
• Participate in staff development and the Performance Management Review process
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress through effective information management
• Communicate positively with students, parents, and other external stakeholders

Requirements

• Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
• Proven teaching experience at the secondary level (including teaching practice)
• A Level Specialism in Mathematics
• Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements for KS3 and KS4
• Strong ICT skills, including the use of interactive whiteboards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills and time management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in multi-ethnic urban schools or 11-18 school environments
