Teacher of Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with the British curriculum
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Plan, prepare, and assess effectively, maintaining accurate records of student progress
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes innovation and curiosity
• Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning
• Contribute to co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes and whole-school initiatives
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders
• Engage in continuous professional development and performance management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or equivalent
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Strong classroom practice with a proven ability to inspire and motivate students
• Ability to deliver British curriculum lessons, specifically with KS5 specialism
• UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check (pre-requisite)
• Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in middle leadership roles (Curriculum, Head of Year, or Careers)
• Experience working within a premium British curriculum international school
