Teacher of Girls' PE

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated PE curriculum for students
• Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and form tutor
• Facilitate a learning experience that encourages students to achieve their individual potential
• Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and academic growth
• Manage operational tasks including lesson planning, resource development, and maintaining student records
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and wellbeing

Requirements

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent qualification
• Possess a relevant undergraduate degree
• Proven teaching experience at the secondary level (including teaching practice)
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements for KS3 and KS4
• Proficient ICT skills, including the use of interactive whiteboards
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with staff
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
