Teacher of Business

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated Business Studies curriculum
• Monitor and support the academic progress and personal development of students
• Plan lessons, develop resources, and contribute to departmental strategic planning
• Act as a form tutor to provide pastoral care and support to a designated group of students
• Maintain accurate records and track student attainment to raise academic standards
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Possess a relevant undergraduate degree
• Proven teaching experience at the secondary level (including teaching practice)
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS3 and KS4
• Proficient ICT skills, including the use of interactive whiteboards
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse, multi-ethnic school environment
