Teacher of Business

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Business lessons aligned with the British curriculum
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Plan, prepare, and assess effectively while maintaining accurate records of student progress
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes innovation and curiosity
• Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences
• Contribute to co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes and whole-school initiatives
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders to support student development
• Engage in continuous professional development and performance management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business or an equivalent field
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent
• Strong classroom practice with a proven ability to inspire and motivate students
• Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning
• Willingness to contribute to the wider school life and professional learning culture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in middle leadership roles such as curriculum coordination or Head of Year
• Experience delivering A Levels, GCSEs, or BTECs
