Teacher of A Level Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated Mathematics curriculum
• Provide high-quality teaching with a specific focus on A-Level instruction
• Monitor and support the academic progress and development of students as a teacher and form tutor
• Plan lessons, develop resources, and contribute to departmental strategic planning
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress to raise attainment standards
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding academic growth
• Contribute to the academy's pastoral system and create a safe, motivating learning environment

Requirements

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Possess a relevant undergraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level
• Essential experience teaching Mathematics at A-Level
• Strong ICT skills, including the use of interactive whiteboards and digital learning tools
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain positive professional relationships
