Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning programs, including literacy, numeracy, and individual learning plans
• Create an inclusive, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed classroom environment
• Apply therapeutic practices to manage behaviours and promote positive outcomes for young people
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and community agencies to support learning transitions
• Maintain accurate records and meet all compliance and safety requirements

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Education (Primary and/or Secondary)
• Active NESA accreditation (or ability to obtain)
• Current First Aid certification
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence and ability to drive 12-seat vehicles
• Proven experience in delivering flexible learning to disengaged or at-risk youth
